I personally think that "practice makes perfect" in many situations.  We practice things every day, like walking and talking and typing.  These are all things that have come from years and years of practice.  I don't think it is accurate to say that we will ever become perfect, however, practice does make proficient!  

I think that the current view of intelligence will actually make it easier and much more fun to teach than before.  Now we are able to use so many different mediums to teach, visual, auditory, practical.  Before kids were expected to sit in the classroom and take notes about what the teacher said.  Now we can use games and power points and all kinds of other methods to get the point that we are trying to make across.  I think that we are actually so lucky to have this opportunity to make a difference in the way that we think is best.  I think this goes for learning as well.  Now teachers are able to get us involved in our learning process and our education than ever before.  Teachers ask us how we think the class would work the best for us and try to use those suggestions to benefit everyone.  I think that this is something that we can use while we are still in the process of learning and then later implement it into our teaching.

I think that one of the best metaphor that we could use to describe the brain is the model that my group came up with during the exercise in class that one day.  We thought of the brain as a highway in which you would get off at each exit on the road to knowledge.  I think that this is a cool idea because people have always associated going out on the open road a chance to learn and experience something new.  I think that this is a really good way to go about looking at education and knowledge.  I think that education should be a chance to learn and experience new things on the open road of learning.  (Totally cheesy I know!!!)

I think that novelty is very important, if not the most important thing to have in the classroom.  I have always prided myself on the fact that I am able to inspire and enlighten people in new and exciting ways.  I would use all kinds of visual cues and interactive activities to make kids excited to come to class.  I remember when one of my teachers would have us all write stories and then turn them in without our names on them and have everyone in t he class guess who wrote each one.  I always loved to write things that people wouldn't expect me to write and fool the whole class.  I think that it is things like this, or when we are asked to re-enact famous people when giving a presentation that made me excited to go to class, and made me love to do work and get involved.  I think that a student needs to be inspired to work hard and get good grades.  This is what I want to do for my students.

I think that I would define intelligence by the amount of experiences you have.  I think that through education you are given experiences, mostly in the classroom but sometimes outside.  You also gain a great deal of life experience by going to school.  You get to meet new people, hear new opinions, gain new knowledge based on other people's views.  I think that there is no way to measure a person's intelligence because we are constantly living and experiencing new things.  It is because of this that I believe that we are always getting more and more intelligence.
